The Training and E-learning Portal aims at strengthening the capacity of training institutions from the region of the former Yugoslavia in organizing comprehensive training programmes for legal practitioners on war crimes prosecutions, as well as the capacity of local legal practitioners to prosecute and try cases of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. It provides access to databases containing relevant information and materials, and an e-learning course for judges and prosecutors on international criminal and humanitarian law.

This Portal has been created by UNICRI within the framework of the War Crimes Justice Project, funded by the European Union and implemented jointly by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), and UNICRI, together with the OSCE field operations in the region.
